Our Key Features

A commitment to the communities we work in
We are committed to the communities we work in, a commitment we take seriously. Recently we worked with Writtle Junior School and our sister company Fairfield Holdings, to construct a new and innovative learning space, The Pod. The children formed their own construction company and were involved from the design right through to completion – a rewarding and fun-filled experience for everyone involved.
Our Chosen Charities
We have chosen to support a cause very close to our heart, men’s mental health. Male construction workers in the UK are three times more likely to commit suicide than the average male and suicide is the most common cause of death for men ages 20-49 in the UK. These shocking statistics are a vivid reminder of the difficulties faced by many men working in construction, regrettably an industry with a very poor mental health record.
We’re supporting Movember and the not-for-profit website Let’s Get Men Talking and working to ensure we carry out our own system of buddy checks across all our sites and projects, to ensure our people are getting the time to talk about their mental health and speak more openly about it.
Please do visit the site which publicises all the support available as well as detailing podcasts that encourage men to talk about their mental health. It’s so important.
